At the turn-of-the-century, George C. Boldt, millionaire proprietor of the world famous Waldorf Astoria Hotel in New York City, set out to build a full size rhineland castle in Alexandria Bay, on picturesque Heart Island. (read more)

such a good tour of the building...I see from the reflections in the mirrors that there were quite a few people visiting the castle.

@Emma G: Thanks Emma ! Yes you are correct - each section had dozens of people (getting in my way - just kidding) so I paced around to get the shots. I tried not to get too involved with the camera, and be grandpa with Gabby. but, got a few lucky shots.. Have a very nice day !!
